Choose no plastic

Most modern aerial targets that are set for mapping which are located outside of paved areas use plastic. These are not materials that should be left in open fields out in the sun for long periods of time. Plastic breaks down, blows in the wind and creates wasted and pollution. As the photo shows, the top image is a photo is that of a plastic aerial target that was set out in the field. It is a common aerial target that is used by many surveyors. It is white plastic on a light brown surface. These can be viewed by the aerial mapping firms, but there is a better way. The photo on the bottom is that of a eco panel by Surveying-Guru.com These aerial targets are made of natural jute material with soy ink. These natural aerial targets are much easier than the white plastic to see in aerial images. They are also much better for the environment, made of natural fibers they will break down without releasing any waste into the environment.
