The new Eco Panels work well when performing airborne LiDAR. Airborne LiDAR uses a laser scanner mounted on either a UAV or manned aerial vehicle to collect laser data from above the ground. Aerial panels used for the collection of this data requires that the aerial targets have differing intensity returns when collection of the data. This differing intensity helps ensure that the aerial information collected is aligned to the aerial targets to ensure that the location of the LiDAR is placed correctly in relationship to the aerial control and project control.
Below are some photos showing the different intensity returns.
